This role is focused on identifying inefficiencies, driving corrective actions, and establishing a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and sustainable improvement.\n\nThe Supply Chain Manager is responsible for all site supply chain functions, including order management, production planning and scheduling, raw material, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods inventory control, as well as coordination with warehouse operations, sales, customer service, and manufacturing teams. This individual will maintain a strong focus on service, inventory accuracy, operational stability, and inventory optimization while balancing demand, inventory levels, customer orders, and production capacity to support site objectives.\n\nThis position is responsible for ensuring the Supply Chain team performs at a high level to meet both internal and external customer expectations.\n\nThrough strong leadership and analytical capabilities, the Supply Chain Manager will provide guidance in problem resolution and decision-making while developing, monitoring, and improving key processes and performance metrics that support business success.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nSafety\nKeep safety in the forefront of the team's thinking and approach to work.\n Ensure all Pregis Production System Safety expectations are adhered to.\nPlanning\nOversee production planning and scheduling activities to support forecasted demand while balancing labor availability, equipment capacity, and inventory investment.\nMaintain optimal inventory levels to support on-time delivery performance and customer requirements while minimizing carrying and transportation costs.\nManage site lead times and communicate product availability accurately.\nEstablish, maintain, and ensure compliance with inventory stocking agreements.\nServe as the primary supply chain contact for key customer accounts.\nRespond proactively to changing business conditions by adjusting production and inventory plans to achieve service and cost objectives.\n Purchasing\nWork with Corporate procurement and Divisional Supply Chain to ensure that vendor supply is reliable to enable production needed to fulfill customer needs.\nManage planning team to ensure requisitions and purchase orders are placed timely and appropriately to enable production while controlling spending constraints.\n Inventory Control\nManage and coordinate cycle count programs and annual physical inventory activities.\nAnalyze inventory variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy and prevent service disruptions.\nManage and resolve slow moving/inactive inventory and develop plans to avoid write-offs \nMonitor inventory health and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory performance.\nWarehousing – Shipping/Receiving\nCoordinate closely with warehouse operations to ensure material and inventory transactions are completed accurately, timely, and safely.\nContinuously evaluate warehouse space utilization and inventory flow efficiency.\nCommunicate urgent customer requirements, backlogs, delays, and critical inbound material needs to ensure effective coordination of shipping and receiving activities.\nPartner with warehouse leadership to ensure inventory accuracy and operational alignment.\nAdministration\nLeveraging Dayforce (HRIS) manage and ensure employees are compliant with attendance, vacation, FMLA, vacation coverage and labor time clocks; provide timely approvals\nConduct periodic employee target and objective setting and performance evaluations with supervisors and team members.\nManage employee performance and discipline while managing company risk and liabilities \nOther\nActs as the key point of contact for all strategic Supply Chain initiatives\nUnderstand site P&L and drivers for performance\nSet the tone for the department culture, with emphasis on Safety, Quality, Profitability, and People Development. Attract, retain and develop key talent within the site. \nMaintain a visible presence on the production floor and within warehouse areas to monitor inventory accuracy, understand product flow, and support on-time customer delivery performance.\n\nQualifications & Experience\nBS/BA Supply Chain Management, required.\nMinimum of 5-10 years’ experience in a Materials Management/Supply Chain, 5 year in management role.\nProven track record of project management skills\n TPM, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and/or Six Sigma knowledge preferred.\nStrong knowledge of supply chain concepts/process and ability to apply them\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret various reports and documents. \nAbility to present issues clearly and concisely; generate accurate analysis, with a good understanding of the cause and effect that will occur with each alternative solution both inside and outside the Supply Chain\nAbility to effectively lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with corporate functional partners.\nIntermediate level or better of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint and MS Teams) expected\nStrong SAP system experience or comparable ERP systems to drive results.\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid and concise conclusions and/or recommendations. \n\nTravel Requirements\nTravel < 10%\n\nCompensation\nThe listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis’ total compensation package.
