In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, tracking, maintaining, and distributing assets to our field crews. Pay is in the $26/hr to $30/hr range. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nAsset Management & Tracking: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all equipment.\nOrganization: Work with other locations to ensure accurate equipment transfers from site to site and shop to site.\nCross-Functional Support: Collaborate with Superintendents to understand their asset needs and ensure timely delivery.\nAuditing & Reporting: Conduct regular audits and physical inventories, reporting findings and asset metrics to leadership.\nVendor Relationships: Manage relationships with external vendors for procurement, service, and, when applicable, rental equipment.\nPerform inventory checks on heavy assets monthly to turn into the equipment manager.\nMaintain inventory of all warehouse items for parts, fittings, and equipment.\nCreate non-technical proposals for project managers.\nWork with Yards to make sure everything is sent out on projects and everything gets checked in.\nReorder stock to keep the shelves stocked as needed.\nAssess equipment maintenance needs to be completed based on inventory.\nPrioritize equipment repairs as needed.\nUse the Mob/Demob spreadsheet for rental charge outs.\nHelp the team as needed in duties outside of our own from time to time.\nBe able to operate a forklift.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience: 2-4 years of experience in asset management, inventory control, or production coordination.\n Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills preferred) and experience with [Asset Management software / DAM systems / ERP systems].\nEducation: logistics or a related field or experience is preferred.\nAttention to Detail: Proven capability to handle high-volume, detailed tasks with a 95% or better accuracy rate.\nCommunication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.\nPREFERRED SKILLS:\nExperience with Microsoft Excel and Word\nWHAT WE OFFER:\nCompetitive salary.\nComprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision).\n401(k) retirement plan with company match.\nPaid Time Off (PTO) and holidays.\nPreload is an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer - Minorities/Female/Disabled/Veterans committed to the principle of Diversity and is particularly interested in receiving applications from a broad spectrum of professionals for each open opportunity.
