If you're energized by building programs that protect people, strengthen organizational resilience, and create an environment where employees can thrive, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact across Premera.\nWhy Join Us?\nProtect What Matters Most: Lead enterprise programs that safeguard employees, visitors, facilities, and critical business assets while supporting a positive employee experience.\nDrive Enterprise Impact: Influence safety, security, emergency preparedness, and compliance initiatives that strengthen organizational resilience across Premera.\nShape the Future of Workplace Security: Modernize programs, technologies, and processes while partnering with leaders across the enterprise to improve how we support and protect our workforce continuously.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSafety, Security & Emergency Management\nLead and continuously improve Premera's occupational safety, physical security, workplace violence prevention, and emergency management programs across all locations.\nDevelop and maintain safety and security policies, standards, procedures, and operational practices aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.\nIdentify and mitigate organizational risks through assessments, inspections, incident reviews, corrective action planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nCompliance, Preparedness & Employee Awareness\nLead emergency preparedness activities, drills, exercises, and incident response efforts that strengthen organizational readiness and resilience.\nEnsure ongoing compliance with OSHA, DOSH, WISHA, HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC, and other applicable safety, security, and facilities-related requirements.\nDevelop and deliver employee training and awareness programs that promote a culture of safety, security, preparedness, and personal responsibility.\nSecurity Operations & Program Management\nOversee physical security systems, Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, security technologies, and vendor partnerships that protect employees, facilities, and assets.\nManage budgets, forecasting, contract performance, lifecycle equipment planning, and operational investments supporting enterprise safety and security programs.\nMonitor program effectiveness and implement enhancements that improve security, operational readiness, service delivery, and risk mitigation.\nStrategic Partnership & Team Leadership\nPartner with Human Resources, Facilities, Information Security, Legal, Risk Management, Business Continuity, business leaders and local law enforcementto advance enterprise safety and security objectives.\nProvide safety and security expertise for construction, renovation, and workplace improvement projects by integrating physical security and risk mitigation requirements.\nLead and develop team members while maintaining a visible on-site presence to support inspections, incident response activities, employee engagement, and operational oversight.\nWhat You Will Bring (Required)\nBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nFive years of experience in security operations, investigations, physical security, or security program management, including 3 years of experience working with physical security technologies and external vendors.\nThree years of people leadership experience and three years developing and delivering safety training programs\nA current, valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain required First Aid/CPR/AED and OSHA certifications within six months of hire.\nAdditional preferred skills and experiences include:\nKnowledge of enterprise physical security technologies, including access control and video surveillance platforms such as Lenel and Milestone XProtect.\nDemonstrated ability to oversee vendor relationships, security contracts, and third-party service providers while driving accountability and operational excellence.\nExperience delivering engaging employee training programs and utilizing facility management technologies to support efficient and effective operations.\nPremera total rewards\nOur comprehensive total rewards package provides support, resources, and opportunities to help employees thrive and grow.
