Enjoy a supportive team environment with employee appreciation events, team activities, and community involvement.\n Interview Process: Virtual screening, in-person interview(s), facility tour, and professional reference check(s)\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities\nAs a VFD & Motor Control Estimator, you will:\nReview RFQs, customer specifications, drawings, and project requirements\nDevelop preliminary electrical system designs and single-line diagrams\nSize and select VFDs, motors, transformers, breakers, and other major electrical components\nCreate bills of material and obtain vendor pricing and lead times\nEstimate material, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and project costs\nPrepare accurate, competitive estimates and professional technical proposals\nClearly define project scope, assumptions, exclusions, and technical risks\nCoordinate with customers, Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and vendors\nSupport the handoff of awarded projects to Engineering and project teams\nMaintain accurate estimating records, pricing, and proposal documentation\n\nExperience and Qualifications\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nDegree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent industry experience\n2+ years of relevant experience in industrial electrical systems, VFDs, motor control, applications engineering, electrical estimating, or technical electrical sales\nStrong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including VFDs, motors, motor control equipment, and related electrical components\nAbility to read electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and single-line diagrams\nExperience with electrical system design, component sizing, BOMs, estimates, quotations, or technical proposals\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills\nExceptional attention to detail and project profitability\nClear communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams\nAbility to manage multiple estimates and deadlines\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard business software\nPreferred Experience:\nVariable frequency drives (VFDs), motors, motor controls, motor control centers (MCCs), or control panels\nElectrical equipment quotations, applications engineering, or technical electrical sales\nElectrical equipment manufacturing, distribution, or systems integration\nCustomer application review and technical solution development\nProject pricing, cost analysis, margins, and profitability\nCustom-engineered or project-based manufacturing environments\nOur Benefits Package: Invested in Your Success\nWe believe in taking care of our team.
