We are currently seeking an environmental services technician to maintain cleanliness and uphold a sterile environment throughout the Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) in both Building A and Building B, ensuring the best possible operating conditions. Multiple shifts open, full-time and part-time. This position is suitable for those with college commitments. Individuals with prior operating room cleaning experience will receive a higher starting wage.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nWorks to ensure the safety, health, and high morale of patients, visitors and staff by helping to provide a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment with minimal interference to others.\nUtilizes proper infection control practices (personal protective equipment, procedures, etc.). Uses proper chemicals and equipment safely to ensure no harm to self, other individuals, or the environment.\nPerforms a variety of assigned cleaning tasks, including damp dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, cleaning windows and mirrors, laundry, demineralizing, and polishing in all assigned areas of the facility according to departmental policy and procedures.
