success.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngineering Leadership\nBuild, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering teams.\nFoster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.\nConduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, feedback sessions, and career development discussions.\nSupport engineers in achieving career growth and promotion objectives.\nDelivery & Execution\nOwn the execution of product roadmaps and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery.\nImprove sprint planning, estimation, prioritization, and engineering processes.\nBalance feature development, technical debt, operational support, and product quality.\nIdentify and remove delivery blockers while managing cross-team dependencies.\nTechnical Excellence\nPromote engineering best practices for architecture, coding standards, testing, maintainability, scalability, and reliability.\nPartner with Technical Leads and senior engineers to drive sound technical decisions and system design.\nCollaborate with QA teams to improve release quality, regression coverage, and defect prevention.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Product Managers, DevOps, QA, Delivery, and executive leadership to align engineering execution with business objectives.\nSupport customer escalations while ensuring engineering teams remain focused on roadmap priorities.\nParticipate in technical planning, project reviews, and continuous process improvement initiatives.\nTalent Acquisition & Team Development\nDefine hiring requirements for engineering teams.\nConduct technical interviews and candidate evaluations.\nSupport onboarding, coaching, succession planning, and engineering career frameworks.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\nMinimum 7 years of experience in Software Engineering.\nPrevious experience leading software engineering teams.\nStrong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software delivery practices.\nExperience building and maintaining production software systems.\nExperience managing Backend, Frontend, Full Stack, Platform, or Machine Learning engineering teams.\nStrong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nPreferred\nExperience within SaaS, AI/ML, Enterprise Software, FinTech, or other regulated industries.\nExperience with Cloud platforms and/or On-Premises deployments.\nKnowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Observability, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).\nExperience scaling engineering organizations and building engineering operating models.\nTechnical Skills\nSoftware
