You will play a central role in taking applications from planning and testing through to successful go-live, while working closely with business teams, IT specialists, vendors, and project stakeholders.\nThe Role\nReporting to the Manager IT Projects and Applications, you will take ownership of IT project delivery from planning through implementation and go-live.\nYou will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the required quality, while keeping stakeholders aligned and ensuring that systems are stable, documented, tested, and ready for successful adoption.\nAs the organization grows, the experience and relationships you build through project delivery will provide an excellent foundation for developing your expertise in enterprise application management and long-term IT ownership.\nYour Responsibilities\nPlan and manage IT projects end-to-end, including scope definition, scheduling, risk identification, delivery planning, and stakeholder coordination.\nWork closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear delivery plans, defined acceptance criteria, and traceable project outcomes.\nSupport structured change and release management, ensuring system changes are properly planned, controlled, and introduced with minimal business disruption.\nCoordinate release and go-live activities, including deployment planning, cutover preparation, implementation coordination, and post-release follow-up.\nSupport functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating test execution, tracking defects, and ensuring users are prepared for go-live.\nMaintain the integrity of development, test, and production environments, proactively identifying risks related to system configuration and data quality.\nWork closely with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to keep projects on track and address delays or quality concerns at an early stage.\nMaintain accurate and structured project documentation, including project plans, risk and issue logs, decision records, action trackers, and status reports throughout the delivery lifecycle.\nWhat You Bring\nEducational background in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is welcome; demonstrated ability to successfully manage and deliver IT projects is equally important.\n3-5 years of experience in IT project delivery, project coordination, or change and release management.\nAbility to independently manage project plans, risks, actions, and stakeholder communications.\nFamiliarity with ITIL change management principles and structured release processes.\nExperience working with enterprise applications and coordinating deliveries involving multiple vendors and internal teams.\nStrong organizational and documentation skills, with a structured and methodical approach to project delivery.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to keep diverse stakeholders aligned throughout the project lifecycle.\nPMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL 4 Foundation certifications are an advantage.\nArabic is required, with strong professional English communication skills.\nComfortable working on-site and during occasional off-hours cutovers when required.\nWhy Join DBEE?\nBe part of Egypt's first high-speed rail project.\nGain hands-on experience in a high-profile, large-scale infrastructure environment.\nWork across IT, business, applications, vendors, and project teams, giving you broad exposure to enterprise technology delivery.\nTake real ownership of projects from planning through go-live.\nDevelop your expertise in enterprise applications, ITIL processes, change management, and project delivery.\nBuild experience within an organization combining international railway expertise with local excellence.\nCreate a strong foundation for future opportunities in IT Project Management and Application Management.\nReady to Make an Impact?\nIf you are an organized and proactive IT professional who enjoys turning requirements into successful technology deliveries, this could be your opportunity to contribute to a project that will shape the future of mobility in Egypt.\nJoin DBEE and help bring the future of high-speed rail to life.\nDB-El Sewedy Rail Operation Egypt is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
