Working within the Operations Control Center (OCC), the role ensures that accurate, timely, and consistent information is communicated to passengers, staff, and stakeholders, particularly during service changes, disruptions, and emergencies.\nYour responsibilities:\n Provide passengers with prompt, clear, and up-to-date information during train delays, degraded operations, service interruptions, and emergencies.\nAct as the Passenger Help Desk and respond to customer enquiries accurately and professionally.\nAnswer public enquiries through telephone and online chat channels.\nOperate and update the Public Address (PA) and Passenger Information Display System (PIDS) during degraded operations and emergencies.\nMonitor the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system to support the observation of operations and incidents.\nDisseminate incident notifications and progress updates to all relevant parties during degraded and emergency modes of operation.\nYour profile/ qualifications:\n Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Information Systems, Communications, or Hospitality Management or equivalent experience.\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, information management, or a related field.\nKnowledge of passenger information systems, ticketing processes, transport schedules, and related passenger services.\nGood understanding of the business of a passenger railway operations and maintenance company, or equivalent.\nAbility to perform effectively in a fast-paced, start-up environment, with a strong customer orientation and responsive approach.\nStrong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels and within a diverse, intercultural workforce.\nProficiency in MS Office applications, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as information management systems.\nFluency in written and spoken Arabic and English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.\nWillingness and ability to work in shifts.\nGeneral Information:\nDB-El Sewedy Railway Operation Egypt is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender, age, nationality, religion, disability, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
