Requirements by Experience Level\n3-5 Years (RAN Engineer)\nRAN Fundamentals & Configuration\nStrong understanding of GSM / UMTS / LTE / 5G fundamentals and concepts\n\nKnowledge of site-level hardware, including BTSX900, and basic SRAN configuration\n\nFamiliarity with U2020 / CME management systems\n\nPerformance & Alarms\nAwareness of RAN alarms, main KPIs, and counters, including alarm meanings and impact\n\nAbility to identify alarm impact and support troubleshooting to resolve KPI degradation\n\nOperations & Coordination\nAbility to communicate and coordinate with:\nField Operations (FO), Core, Microwave (MW), FM, Management, and L1 customers\n\nUnderstanding of incident escalation matrix and reporting procedures\n\nMaintenance & Change Activities\nPerform health checks and prepare basic preventive maintenance reports\n\nImplement low-risk change activities following network change management processes\n\nSupport site acceptance activities and customer follow-up\n\n5-8 Years (Senior RAN Engineer)\nRAN Architecture & Hardware\nFull knowledge of Huawei RAN hardware:\nBSC, BTS, NodeB, eNodeB, gNodeB (different types)\n\nStrong command of RAN configurations across 2G/3G/4G/5G\n\nAdvanced Operations & Maintenance\nHands-on experience with:\nRehoming\n\nSoftware / OS upgrades\n\nLicense and certificate activities\n\nExpert understanding of RAN alarms, KPIs, and technical complaint resolution\n\nNetwork Expansion & Optimization\nPerform expansions on interfaces:\nA, Gb, IuCS, IuPS, IuR\n\nExecute basic LTE / NR configurations\n\nCollect and analyze logs and traces for troubleshooting and optimization\n\nGovernance, Security & Processes\nSupport Key Event Assurance, emergency handling, and network risk mitigation\n\nConduct network health checks and support drilling tests\n\nBasic knowledge of cybersecurity, network, and information security\n\nStrong experience in:\nRFC / MOP creation and approvals\n\nITR / SD processes\n\nManage SR processes with ETAC / GTAC and ensure customer satisfaction\n\nAdvanced usage of iMaster U2020 and CME, including solution preparation and implementation\n\n8+ Years (Expert / Lead RAN Engineer)\nPerformance, KPIs & Governance\nExpert-level knowledge of Huawei RAN KPIs and counters, including KPI degradation analysis\n\nStrong command of:\nNetwork change management\n\nIncident management\n\nBacktracking regulations\n\nTechnical Leadership & Cross-Domain Expertise\nLead and handle complex incidents and cross-product activities\n\nWorking knowledge of other network domains:\nMicrowave\n\nCS Core\n\nPS Core\n\nIP Backbone (IPBB)\n\nCapacity, Planning & Audits\nBasic to intermediate knowledge of Wireless BSS capacity planning\n\nPerform network
