The role ensures the efficient procurement, importation, storage, inventory management, production material planning, and distribution of goods and materials while maintaining cost efficiency, operational accuracy, and timely delivery.\nThe ideal candidate should have practical experience in trading and industrial environments, with a strong understanding of supplier coordination, logistics, inventory control, purchasing procedures, and cross-functional operations.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Procurement and Supplier Management\nCoordinate purchasing activities for raw materials, industrial supplies, spare parts, finished goods, and other operational requirements.\nRequest and evaluate supplier quotations, compare prices and delivery terms, and support supplier selection.\nIssue and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and compliance with agreed specifications.\nMaintain effective relationships with local and international suppliers.\nMonitor supplier performance, lead times, pricing, and quality standards.\nCoordinate with the finance department regarding supplier invoices, payment terms, and outstanding balances.\n2. Import, Export, and Logistics Coordination\nCoordinate import and export shipments, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs clearance activities.\nFollow up on shipping documents, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other required documentation.\nMonitor shipment status and ensure materials and goods arrive according to the required schedule.\nCoordinate local transportation, delivery schedules, and distribution activities.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce freight costs, customs-related delays, and logistics expenses.\n3. Inventory and Warehouse Management\nMonitor stock levels of raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and finished goods.\nMaintain accurate inventory records and ensure consistency between physical stock and ERP or inventory system balances.\nCoordinate stock replenishment and maintain appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels.\nConduct regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.\nPrevent stockouts, overstocking, material shortages, and unnecessary inventory holding costs.\nCoordinate warehouse receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatching activities.\n4. Industrial Operations and Material Planning\nCoordinate with production, maintenance, and technical departments to identify material and spare-part requirements.\nEnsure the availability of materials needed to support production schedules and industrial operations.\nFollow up on work orders, material requisitions, and urgent operational requirements.\nMonitor material consumption and support efforts to reduce waste and improve resource utilization.\nCoordinate the movement of materials between warehouses, production facilities, and project sites where applicable.\n5. Trading Operations and Order Fulfillment\nCoordinate customer orders from order confirmation through procurement, stock allocation, and final delivery.\nFollow up on sales orders, supplier deliveries, and customer delivery commitments.\nEnsure products meet customer specifications and agreed commercial requirements.\nCoordinate with the sales team to confirm product availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.\nSupport the preparation of quotations, order confirmations, delivery notes, and other operational documents.\n6. Documentation, Reporting, and Compliance\nMaintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery notes, goods receipt notes, invoices, and inventory transactions.\nPrepare periodic reports on purchasing, stock levels, shipment status, pending orders, and supply chain costs.\nUpdate supply chain data in the ERP system or other relevant business applications.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable import, export, and customs regulations.\nMaintain proper documentation for audit purposes and internal control procedures.\n7. Coordination and Continuous Improvement\nWork closely with procurement, sales, finance, warehouse, production, and maintenance teams.\nIdentify operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements to supply chain processes.\nMonitor delivery performance, purchasing costs, inventory turnover, and order fulfillment efficiency.\nSupport the implementation of cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.\nEscalate supply shortages, delivery delays, supplier issues, and operational risks to management.\nQualifications and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.\nTypically 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations, preferably within trading and industrial companies.\nExperience in purchasing, inventory management, logistics, import/export coordination, and supplier follow-up.\nKnowledge of industrial materials, spare parts, raw materials, and finished goods is an advantage.\nExperience working with ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Excel.\nUnderstanding of shipping documentation, customs clearance procedures, and international trade terms (Incoterms).\nGood analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication, negotiation, and coordination abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.\nGood command of English; Arabic is an advantage depending on the business requirements.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nPerformance will be evaluated based on the following indicators:\nOn-time delivery rate: Percentage of orders delivered within the agreed timeframe.\nInventory accuracy: Alignment between system records and physical stock.\nStock availability: Ability to prevent production stoppages and customer order delays caused by material shortages.\nProcurement cost efficiency: Achievement of competitive purchasing prices and cost-saving targets.\nSupplier performance: Compliance with agreed delivery schedules, specifications, and quality standards.\nOrder fulfillment efficiency: Timely and accurate processing of customer and internal orders.\nImport and logistics efficiency: Reduction of avoidable shipment delays and transportation costs.\n Documentation accuracy: Completeness and accuracy of purchasing,
