The Yard Supervisor ensures rolling stock is positioned, prepared, and ready for service on schedule.\nYour responsibilities:\n Manage the Wagon Examiners and Shunting Drivers in the yard.\nSupervise and monitor the performance of Wagon Examiners and Shunting Drivers.\nReport incidents and near misses.\nInterface with third parties, such as SOAC and ENR.\nManage the assigned team of Wagon Examiners and Shunting Drivers.\nEnsure the team members' medical fitness certificates, competence, personal protective equipment (PPE), and necessary tools are up to date.\nYour profile/ qualifications:\n Bachelor's degree / MBA in a relevant field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in railway operations.\nFirst experience in managing teams.\nProven knowledge of all aspects of compliance.\nKnowledge of yard operations.\nExperience in developing, implementing, updating, and monitoring yard systems would be an asset.\nProven time management and organizational skills.\nGood understanding of the business of a freight railway operation.\nStrong ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels of the organization, being a team player.\nAbility to work with a diverse workforce in intercultural environments.\nProficient in MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and yard IT systems.\nFluent in English, both written and spoken.\nFluent in Arabic.\nGeneral Information:\nDB-El Sewedy Railway Operation Egypt is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of gender, age, nationality, religion, disability, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
