You will be a fully engaged team member and will assist the engineering team to maintain site electrical standards and ensure the site remains compliant with electrical regulations.\nThe successful candidate will:\nDrive CI initiatives with the electrical and automation agenda.\nSupport and train engineering teams with maintenance and fault-finding activities.\nBe a custodian of electrical documentation, drawing and software backups to the agreed site standard.\nLiaise with key stakeholders to ensure site is always compliant against electrical standards.\nWork with the maintenance planner to schedule electrical projects.\nEnsure that we hold the correct electrical critical spare parts, and the consignment stock is maintained.\nSupervise engineers and outside contractors.\nWhat we need from you:\nRecognised electrical/automation apprenticeship\nQualified to a minimum HNC level (or equivalent) electrical/controls discipline.\nAdvanced PLC Skills - Allen Bradley (Rockwell Logix)\nExperienced with Allen Bradley servo drives, Inverters and Network controls\nUnderstanding of control systems and the ability to optimize them\nExperience in food manufacturing is desirable \nWhat we offer in return:\nSalary circa £60,000 per annum\nUp to 7.5% pension contribution\nLife assurance\nStaff discount shop on site\nFree on site parking\nAccess to \"The Hamper\", with discounts at hundreds of nationwide retailers\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays\nEmployee Assistance Programme, Occupational Health and Other Health & Wellbeing Benefits\nSharesave Scheme\nAt Premier foods we believe in inclusion, authenticity and individuality.
