This is a highly visible business partnering role, working directly with senior leaders across Procurement, Logistics and Finance to provide insight, challenge and direction across a significant area of spend including raw materials, energy, warehousing and freight.\nYou'll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping the business navigate risks and opportunities, improve financial performance and support key decisions that shape the future of our supply chain. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine strategic thinking, commercial insight and financial expertise while making a tangible impact across the business.\nWhat you'll be doing\nPartnering with the Director of Procurement and Head of Logistics to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making.\nLeading financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities across Procurement and Logistics.\nOverseeing month-end reporting, providing robust analysis and commentary on key variances and performance drivers.\nTracking inflationary impacts and identifying key risks and opportunities across the supply chain.\nSupporting critical business decisions through financial modelling, scenario planning and commercial analysis.\nEnhancing freight reporting and analytical tools to improve visibility of actual and forecast cost drivers.\nWorking closely with Commercial teams to understand market trends, volume drivers and pricing opportunities.\nLeading Supply Chain inputs into commercial pricing reviews.\nDriving process simplification, automation initiatives and financial control improvements.\nActing as the Finance lead for identifying, quantifying and tracking savings initiatives across procurement, energy and logistics.\nPartnering with colleagues across Finance to assess topics such as FX exposure, packaging taxes, sustainability and legislative changes.\nWhat we're looking for\nACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with strong post-qualification experience.\nExperience within FMCG and a proven track record in supply chain finance, procurement cost control and/or logistics optimisation.\nAdvanced financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insight.\nStrong commercial acumen and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.\nExperience of budgeting, forecasting, business planning and performance analysis.\nAdvanced Excel skills and experience of ERP systems, ideally SAP.\nA strategic mindset, with the ability to anticipate future challenges and identify opportunities.\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance and operational teams.\nWhat we offer you in return\nThis is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of our Supply Chain organisation, partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions that have a significant impact across Premier Foods.
