You will be a fully engaged team member, with flexibility to efficiently problem solve, report, maintain and improve a variety of manufacturing equipment across site.\nThe successful candidate will:\nEnsure that plant and equipment systems perform to manufacture product efficiently to high-quality standards;\nTo implement maintenance activities, ensuring that the manufacturing team achieve full compliance to the production plan, by minimising engineering downtime;\nTo support the engineering and manufacturing functions ensuring maximum utilisation of engineering equipment in order to achieve KPIs and optimal line efficiency within the company safety, quality & environmental policies;\nCritical spare parts identification for assets across site;\nTo support manufacturing team through the daily and Short Interval Control (SIC) meeting structure to achieve efficient and effective close out of tasks to improve line availability.\nWhat we need from you:\nRecognised Engineering Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in engineering for example - Level 3 Electrical/electronic engineering or similar;\nPrevious experience of automated manufacturing environments;\nExperience of programming, fault finding and repair of Servo or inverter driven systems;\nPractical knowledge of CI tools and techniques;\nA working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings.\n\nWhat we offer in return:\nUp to 7.5% pension contribution;\nLife assurance;\nStaff discount shop on site;\nFree onsite parking;\nAccess to \"The Hamper\", with discounts at hundreds of nationwide retailers;\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays;\nEmployee Assistance Programme, Occupational Health and Other Health & Wellbeing Benefits;\nSharesave Scheme;\nOther salary sacrifice benefits. \nAt Premier foods we believe in inclusion, authenticity and individuality.
