You will be part of a team of six, reporting directly to an Engineering Manager on each shift.\nAre you interested in.\nProactive maintenance and inspection work AND proactive continuous improvement\nExposure to a rich variety of engineering equipment and processes\nAutomation experience; exposure to cutting-edge equipment and machinery\nA collaborative relationship between engineers and operations\nCareer progression routes - into supervisor and management or cross-functionally\nJoining a multi-site business that places high emphasis on employee support\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nAdvise and assist the design, installation and commissioning of projects and small initiatives\nEnsure that plant and equipment systems perform to manufacture product efficiently to high quality standards\nAssist with training and support of non-electrically biased engineers and electrical engineers wishing to improve their knowledge of automated machinery\nSupport the engineering and manufacturing functions ensuring maximum utilisation of engineering equipment to achieve KPIs and optimal line efficiency within the company safety, quality & environmental policies\nContribute to and help implement continuous improvement, to enhance quality, safety, efficiency and waste reduction\nHelping to transform the engineering maintenance strategy from a breakdown philosophy to a Right First Time, proactive philosophy\nWhat we need from you:\nRecognised Engineering Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in engineering for example - Level 3 Electrical/electronic engineering or similar\nPrevious experience of automated manufacturing environments.
