This is a pivotal leadership role within our Moreton site, offering the opportunity to shape long-term engineering strategy and contribute to our broader business goals.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement a 5-year maintenance strategy aligned with site and business objectives.\nLead capital planning and manage engineering budgets, including energy and utilities.\nEnsure compliance with engineering specifications, health & safety legislation, and facilities management.\nDrive a culture of food safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\nMentor and coach engineers, fostering a high-performance team culture.\nCollaborate with operations to prioritise engineering workload and select modern equipment.\nRepresent the site at trade fairs and exhibitions to stay abreast of automation advancements.\nMonitor KPIs to ensure engineering and production efficiency.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBEng Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or equivalent technical qualifications.\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG engineering management.\nProven leadership in a trade union environment, managing teams of 50+.\nStrong financial acumen and data analysis skills.\nDemonstrated success in improving equipment availability and performance.\nWhat we offer you in return\nSalary of circa £80,000 per annum\n\nBonus\n\nCar allowance\n\nPrivate medical insurance\n\nEnhanced pension with life assurance\n\nHoliday purchase scheme\n\nSharesave scheme\n\nAt Premier foods we believe in inclusion, authenticity and individuality.
