Proactively anticipates customer and business needs and incorporates those needs into proper product plans. As the product owner, the PD is accountable for ensuring that output from the various internal support groups meet the market requirements first set forth from product management. \nThis position will maintain a very tight unified relationship with the associated Technical Product Director and close collaborative relationships with internal groups such as National directors, marketing, sales and education, training and support\n• Product Strategies• Business Development\n• Product ManagementKey Responsibilities\nProduct Strategy & Management – 70%\n\nServe as the product owner and champion for a larger product line or several smaller product lines, and be accountable for product strategy, vision, and roadmap.\n\nRepresent the “Voice of the Customer” internally, making sure customer needs are captured and built into product requirements and plans.\n\nServe as the “Face of the Product” externally, engaging with customers and stakeholders to communicate product direction and value.\n\nProactively anticipate customer and business needs and translate them into product plans and priorities.\n\nKeep product direction aligned with corporate and business strategic plans and objectives.\n\nDefine market requirements and make sure output from internal support groups meets those requirements.\n\nMaintain a closely unified partnership with the associated Technical Product Director to coordinate product strategy and delivery.\n\nCollaborate with National Directors, marketing, sales, education, training, and support teams to drive product positioning, launch readiness, and adoption.\n\nLead product marketing and customer interaction activities that support product strategy and business development goals.\n\nIdentify and facilitate process improvements.\n\nStaff Leadership – 30%\nDirectly manages and leads Technical Product Managers, Portfolio Business Analyst, System Analyst and potentially other ancillary staffing.\n\nHiring of staff\n\nDevelop appropriate performance review objective\n\nProvide day-to-day coaching and assist staff with individual development planning\n\nConduct annual performance reviews\n\nResolve employee relations issues as needed\n\nDetermine and allocate necessary resources to implement projects\n\nAssist staff in meeting deliverables\n\nCommunicate and interpret organizations policies\n\nFacilitate team meetings to ensure staff is educated and up to date on latest issues\n\nRequired QualificationsWork Experience:\nYears of Applicable Experience - 7 or more yearsEducation:\nBachelors (Required)Required Certifications/LicensingSAFe certification a plus\nPreferred QualificationsSkills:\n\nProduct Management\n\nSoftware Development\n\nExperience:\n\nExperience in a technology environment\n\nSoftware Development lifecycle experience\n\nProject Management\n\nEducation:\nMaster's degree\nAdditional Job Requirements:\n\nRemain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time\n\nBe adaptive and change priorities quickly; meet deadlines\n\nAttention to detail\n\nOperate computer programs and software\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with audiences in person and in electronic formats. \n\nDay-to-day contact with others (co-workers and/or the public)\n\nMaking independent decisions\n\nAbility to work in a collaborative business environment in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions\n\nWorking Conditions: RemoteTravel Requirements: Travel 1-20% within the USPhysical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $113,000 - $188,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location.
