What we do is profoundly connected to saving and improving lives, and we recognize our team members are the most valuable asset in delivering success.\nWe are here to help you grow, to give you the skills and opportunities to excel at work with the flexibility and balance your life requires.\n\nYour ideas influence the way we work, and your voice matters here.\n\nAs an essential part of our team, you help us deliver the medical innovation that patients are desperate for.\n\nJoin us and build your future here.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nPromote IT security best practices company-wise\nIvestigate security breaches and other cyber-security incidents\nEnsure the development of and continuous review/update of a suitable security awareness program\nConduct internal and external security audits\nManage network, intrusion detection, and prevention systems\nEnsure that the IT infrastructure is compliant with all regulatory requirements (i.e. 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR), existing SOPs, and generally accepted industry practices\nPerform vulnerability assessments, security testing, and work on remediation and mitigation findings for companywide assets\nResearch and recommend improvements to the technical infrastructure relative to security, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), UTM, and overall system integrity\nProvide off hour support on an infrequent, but as needed basis\nStay current on IT security trends and news\nWhat we are Looking for:\nBachelor’s degree, or its international equivalent, in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent combined education and experience\nCertification, or commitment to quickly obtain certification, such as Security +\n1-2 years with significant security related information systems/technology experience or 3-5 years IT Operations experience with direct experience in a modern IT environment\nExperience identifying and mitigating network vulnerabilities and explaining to others how to avoid them\nHands-on experience with the following: Fortinet solutions, vulnerability scanning, antivirus & malware analysis, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), log correlation tools, and network access control (NAC)\nFamiliarity with machine learning concepts\nFamiliarity with best practice security configurations for solutions by VMWare, and Microsoft Windows Server\nStrong familiarity with access-lists, subnet masks, subnetting, and ip routing\nBackground in CRO, pharmaceutical, biotech development, or health care industry preferred\nExcellent communication skills in English\nAbility to multi-task and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment\nSound organizational and time-management skills.
