This role carries full profit and loss responsibility while leading branch operations, driving sales growth, developing team members, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.\nReporting directly to the Regional Vice President/General Manager, this is a highly visible leadership role with a strong emphasis on business development, customer relationship management, and operational excellence.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nBusiness Development & Sales Leadership\nPromote and communicate Premier Trailer Leasing's value proposition to prospective and existing customers.\nProspect, develop, and secure opportunities to quote customer equipment requirements.\nFollow up on customer quotations through phone calls, meetings, and site visits.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including purchasing, operations, and executive leadership.\nDrive revenue growth and market expansion within the assigned territory.\nBranch Leadership & Operations\nLead all branch functions and oversee daily operations.\nMaintain accountability for overall branch performance and profitability.\nEnsure branch resources are effectively managed to meet customer and operational demands.\nRequest and coordinate additional support as needed to fulfill branch obligations.\nTeam Development\nTrain, coach, and mentor branch employees to maximize performance and professional growth.\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nSupport employee development while creating an engaging and productive work environment.\nFinancial Management\nMaintain direct responsibility for branch profit and loss performance.\nOversee and support all collection efforts to ensure healthy financial results.\nMonitor business performance and implement strategies to achieve operational and financial goals\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree in business or similar field, plus 3-7 years of previous experience working in sales and/or experience in the trucking industry, truck/trailer rental, leasing or customer service environments.Substantial experience as a sales manager preferred.\nStrong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.\nCustomer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.\nPrevious experience leading sales teams and managing business development efforts.\nProven success in sales management or branch leadership role.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to drive in excess of five hours per day.\nAbility to repeatedly enter and exit a vehicle throughout the workday.\nAbility to physically inspect trailers both inside and outside.\nAbility to access areas underneath trailers when necessary.\nAbility to walk trailer yards and climb stairs as required.\nAbility to drive/fly in excess of three days per week.\nTECHNOLOGY SKILLS:\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suites -
