Join us and experience what it means to live a culture of C.A.R.E!\nJOB SCOPE:\nOur 10-week, paid Summer Internship Program gives college students the opportunity to see how Finance supports a leading national trailer leasing and rental company. As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you will gain exposure across key areas of our Finance organization and learn how financial information flows through the business - from customers and billing to cash, vendors, accounting, month-end close, and financial analysis.\nYou will work alongside finance professionals, including members of our Accounting and FP&A teams, while gaining exposure to how financial data supports operational and business decisions across Premier.\nThis is a full-time, on-site Intern role from May 31 through August 6, 2027 (8AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday) at our Corporate office in Plano, TX.\nWHAT YOU WILL LEARN:\nFinancial accounting and the month-end close process.\nFinancial planning and analysis (FP&A) and how financial information supports business decisions.\nCash application, accounts payable, billing, and revenue processes.\nSales and use tax processes across multiple states.\nCustomer and branch financial analysis, including exposure to fleet-related business metrics.\nHow Finance partners with branch operations, sales, and other corporate teams to support the business.\nTASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPrepare journal entries and supporting schedules for month-end close.\nAssist with billing-cycle activities and gain exposure to revenue processes.\nAssist in the preparation and payment of sales and use tax returns for applicable states.\nProcess customer lockbox, wire, ACH, and credit card payments.\nProcess vendor invoices and payments and gain exposure to accounts payable workflows.\nPartner with FP&A on customer reviews, branch fleet analysis, and other financial analysis that supports business decisions.\nGain exposure to the financial and business processes involved in becoming and serving a Premier customer.\nComplete a customer review project for National Accounts using financial and operational information.\nAssist Finance and other Corporate teams with projects that support business priorities.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\nCurrent enrollment in a four-year degree or graduate program.
