Join us and experience what it means to live a culture of C.A.R.E!\nJOB SCOPE:\nThis position requires strong analytical and technical abilities, and requires fast, but carefully thought-out results to exceed customer expectations. You will be a champion of customer service and help Premier Trailer Leasing meet operational and organizational financial objectives. You will be responsible for executing operational processes and supporting branch performance objectives. This is a highly hands-on operations role. Approximately 70-80% of the workday is spent outdoors in a trailer yard interacting with customers, drivers, vendors, and equipment. You will be working outdoors in all seasons and varying weather conditions, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service.\nThis is an on-site position at a Premier branch office in Charlton, MA.Position also includes Company-paidtravel to provide coverage for other Premier branch locations nationwide.\nTASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSpend most of each workday outdoors conducting trailer inspections, managing yard activity, coordinating with customers and vendors, and monitoring equipment movement throughout the branch location.\nConduct trailer inspections in accordance with company procedures and identify equipment requiring repair or maintenance to help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and industry regulations.\n\nGenerate customer rental agreements.\n\nCoordinate all work performed on trailers with vendors as well as ensure the work performed follows Premiers’ policies and procedures.\n\nManage and reconcile all equipment inventory both out-bound and in-bound gate activity daily.\n\nAssist in the transportation of equipment between branches as well as to customers and vendors.\n\nEnsure all customers have the proper insurance prior to renting a trailer.\n\nAssist with Accounts Receivable collections.\n\nDaily administrative paperwork and filing.\n\nAssist in answering phones, responding to emails and questions from customers.\n\nThe duties listed above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Management reserves the right to assign or modify duties as business needs require.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:\nInterpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate with others in a sincere and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport.\n\nConscientiousness: Ability to be responsible, dependable, and persistent and achievement oriented in completing job tasks\n\nCustomer Service: Ability to meet and/or exceed customers’ expectations regarding quality and consistency of service provided.\n\nDecision Making Ability/Decisiveness: Ability to make decisions quickly based on available information by taking action and staying the course of the decided action.\n\nSafety Awareness: Ability to follow regulations and procedures, check equipment and recognize hazards to insure personal and public safety as well as utilize all Premier Trailer Leasing issued safety equipment.\n\nVerbal Communication Skills: Ability to express/present ideas or information through the use of the spoken word via telephone or face-to-face.\n\nWritten Communication Skills: Able to express ideas clearly in documents that have basic organization structure and grammar.\n\nProblem Solving/Diagnosis Skills: Ability to examine all possible problems by collecting evidence and weighing factual information.\n\nMechanical Aptitudes: Working knowledge of basic mechanical principles, operations and functioning.\n\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\nPreferred: Associate degree, technical training, or equivalent combination of education and relevant operations, transportation, logistics, leasing, or equipment management experience.\n\nExcellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable and organized.\n\nAbility to relocate within 12-18 months of joining the team to support Premier branches nationwide.
