Join us and experience what it means to live a culture of C.A.R.E!\nJOB SCOPE:\nOur 10-week, paid Summer Internship Program gives college students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day work of a leading national trailer leasing and rental company. As a Sales Intern, you will learn how to prospect for new business, build customer relationships, communicate the Premier value proposition, and support opportunities throughout the sales process. You will work alongside Branch Managers and Sales Representatives, gain direct customer-facing experience, and learn how sales, operations and customer service work together to serve customers.\nThis is a full-time, on-site Intern role from May 31 through August 6, 2027 (8AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday) at our Dallas, TX branch and Plano, TX corporate office.\nWHAT YOU WILL LEARN:\nProspecting and lead generation techniques.\nCustomer relationship building and business-to-business communication.\nHow to understand customer needs and communicate Premier's value proposition.\nCRM and sales pipeline management.\nTrailer specifications, applications and the solutions Premier provides customers.\nHow sales, operations and customer service work together throughout the customer lifecycle.\nTASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResearch prospective customers, identify new business opportunities and conduct outbound prospecting, including phone outreach.\nJoin Branch Managers and Sales Representatives on customer visits and gain experience presenting the Premier Value Proposition, including Rent, Lease, Trailer Tracking, LDW and other services offered by the company.\nProvide support to customers visiting the branch and communicating via phone and email.\nConduct customer satisfaction and follow-up calls and assist with appointment setup.\nUpdate the CRM system with sales calls, opportunities and customer contacts.\nLearn basic trailer specifications and applications to better understand and support customer needs.\nAssist with generating customer rental/leasing agreements, reviewing insurance and completing related administrative documentation.\nAssist with Accounts Receivable collections to gain exposure to the customer account lifecycle.\nAssist Branch and Corporate teams with projects that support sales, customer service and operational priorities.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\nCurrent enrollment in a four-year degree or graduate program.
