We will deliver excellent value to all of our stakeholders.\nWhat you’ll be working on\nProduction Forklift Operator will be responsible for the following job duties:\nSafely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and rack material.\nInspect finished product and raw materials for accuracy and quality and safety move them around the warehouse and between warehouse and production lines to ensure timely and complete delivery and quality product.\nManually or mechanically, load and unload materials from pallets, skids, or other transport vehicles.\nPerform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, and replacing.\nWeigh materials or products, and record weight and other production data on tags or labels.\nOperate or tend automatic palletizing machines.\nNotify purchasing personnel regarding low levels of or problems with raw materials in timely manner.\nVerify proper product identification/specifications during shift.\nInteract with team members and with previous/subsequent shift to ensure all shift requirements are fulfilled by the end of the shift.\nPerform FIFO stock rotation.\nReport any forklift operating problems and/or safety issues to department manager.\nEnsure that raw materials needed for next shift are ready prior to end of your shift.\nMentor new forklift operators.\nPerforms other related duties as they arise and/or as requested.\nWhy work with us?\nWe strive to foster an environment that celebrates differences in our teams at all PWI locations.
