This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall production efficiency while maintaining all safety and quality standards. This is a night shift position.\nEquipment may include fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, palletizers, blow molders, and associated production systems.\nShift Opportunities Available:\nNight Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule\n Preventative Maintenance: Monday through Friday, 8-hour night shifts\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nPrevious manufacturing maintenance experience preferred (2+ years)\nMechanical troubleshooting skills in a production environment\nAbility to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills\nBasic computer proficiency; Excel experience preferred\nAbility to read, understand, and interpret documents, work orders, and operating procedures\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence\nBasic math skills\nForklift experience or certification preferred\nAbility to stand, walk, climb, and work in an industrial environment for extended periods\nAbility to safely lift, carry, and move materials as required\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nOperate and maintain production equipment in accordance with established procedures and specifications\nOperate and troubleshoot blow molding equipment\nPerform preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime\nDiagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues and complete repairs in a timely manner\nRespond quickly to production issues to minimize downtime\nLead and support equipment changeovers\nPerform routine inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns\nMaintain and carry required tools and communication equipment during shifts\nAssist in training and developing new team members\nPerform basic cleaning and housekeeping of maintenance and production equipment\nEnsure production equipment operates efficiently while producing high-quality products\nFollow and promote Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and plant safety policies\nReport equipment failures, injuries, safety concerns, and production incidents immediately to leadership\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts\nRotate job assignments as needed to support operational requirements\nFood Safety, GMP & PPE Requirements\nEmployees working in production areas are responsible for following and enforcing all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards.\nRequired PPE and GMP compliance may include:\nHairnets and beard nets (when applicable)\nSafety glasses\nHearing protection\nAdditional PPE as required by the task or work area\nEmployees must follow all standard operating procedures, quality checks, and food safety requirements.
