This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, optimizing, and improving SIPA injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to maximize production efficiency, product quality, and equipment reliability.\nThis position provides technical leadership by training operators, mechanics, and supervisors while driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.\nEquipment Maintenance & Reliability\nPerform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on injection molding equipment and support systems.\nMaintain and optimize SIPA injection molding machines consisting of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electromechanical systems.\nDiagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.\nConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.\nSupport OEM integrations, upgrades, and system improvements.\nInjection Molding Expertise\nTroubleshoot and optimize injection molding processes for quality, efficiency, and productivity.\nMaintain mold systems, including hot runners, cold halves, and related mold components.\nIdentify wear patterns and component failures through detailed inspection and product analysis.\nMonitor and support resin handling systems, material dryers, blending systems, dehumidification equipment, cooling systems, and conveying systems.\nAssist with material processing and resin management activities to ensure consistent product quality.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.\nMinimum 5 years of experience with OEM integrations and equipment support.\nStrong troubleshooting skills involving hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.\nExperience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and depth gauges.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExtensive experience with SIPA injection molding equipment.\nExperience with injection molding material processing, resin handling systems, and resin dryers.\nPLC certifications or formal technical education.\nExperience programming and troubleshooting Rockwell Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs.\nAdvanced knowledge of mold maintenance, hot runner systems, and injection molding process optimization.\nExperience working with high-speed manufacturing and packaging environments.\nApply today and bring your injection molding expertise to a company that values your skills, invests in your growth, and rewards your contributions.\nPremium Waters is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
