Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa (current or future). \nHelp reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people’s lives!\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild and maintain scalable backend services using Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL that power our online booking experience.\nDesign and maintain APIs supporting checkout, payments, scheduling, customer accounts, and order management.\nIntegrate with third-party platforms including Stripe, CommerceTools, Salesforce, Voucherify, and other business-critical systems.\nDesign resilient distributed systems with robust error handling, observability, and monitoring using Datadog.\nOptimize application performance, database queries, and service reliability for high-volume transactional workloads.\nWrite comprehensive automated tests and contribute to a strong engineering culture focused on quality and reliability.\nPartner closely with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features.\nMentor other engineers, participate in architecture discussions, and help drive technical direction across the platform..\nWhat You’ll Bring\n7+ years of professional backend software engineering experience with Python.\nStrong experience building REST APIs with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.\nDeep knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.\nExperience building and maintaining distributed systems and integrating with external APIs.\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and modern CI/CD practices.\nStrong testing practices using frameworks such as pytest, with experience building reliable automated test suites.\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog or similar platforms.\nA startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, able to balance speed with quality, and willing to take ownership from design through production.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering and business teams.\nNice to Have\nExperience with headless commerce platforms such as CommerceTools.\nExperience with payment systems including Stripe, Affirm, or similar providers.\nExperience with SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, and asynchronous Python development.\nFamiliarity with Terraform, Docker, and GitHub Actions.\nExperience with scheduling platforms, subscription systems, or healthcare applications.\nExperience working in highly regulated industries.\nOur Values\nFirst: we are Pioneers\nTransforming healthcare requires divergent thinking, bias for action, disciplined experimentation, and consistent grit and determination to maintain momentum.
