In this role, you’ll translate data into actionable insights that support business decision-making across the company. You’ll collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand their goals and objectives and deliver meaningful insights. This position is primarily remote, with occasional visits to our downtown Phoenix office, located directly across the street from Footprint Center.\nEssential Responsibilities\nReporting & Analysis\nGather, analyze, and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.\nProvide detailed quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting, applying statistical methods where appropriate.\nIdentify trends, patterns, and anomalies in tolling, bypass, device, and customer data.\nRespond to ad hoc report and data requests submitted through the BI service desk across multiple business areas.\nBI Solutions & Data Quality\nCreate and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations, including semantic model and DAX measure changes.\nTroubleshoot report refresh failures and data issues, partnering with data engineers on root-cause fixes.\nValidate report outputs against warehouse and source data before release to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility.\nDocument reports, metric definitions, and data lineage in Confluence.\nAI-Assisted Analytics\nUse AI-assisted workflows to translate business questions into reporting artifacts (semantic model changes, DAX, and documentation), validating outputs for accuracy and policy compliance.\nIncorporate AI tools into routine reporting and documentation work, writing clear, specific prompts and refining them when the first output isn't quite right.\nBegin applying simple agentic tools to single, well-defined tasks under guidance.\nReview AI outputs for accuracy before use, ask informed questions, and seek out new AI use cases relevant to your work.\nStakeholder Collaboration & Process Improvement\nGather and document business requirements to support reporting and analytics initiatives.\nProactively look for ways to improve your own workflows and reporting processes.\nCollaborate across the BI team to reach shared goals, and mentor teammates one-on-one as opportunities arise.\nRequirements\nQualifications\n2+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar reporting role.\nHands-on experience building and maintaining Power BI reports and semantic models, including DAX.\nIntermediate SQL skills (joins, aggregations, CTEs, window functions) for querying, validating, and reconciling data.\nAbility to manage multiple requests from different stakeholders and explain findings clearly to non-technical audiences.\nBachelor's degree (BSc/BA) in a relevant field.\nPreferred\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, warehouses, notebooks) or a medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) data architecture.\nExperience using AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) in analytical work, with a habit of verifying results before use.\nMicrosoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600).\nExperience using Git for version control of BI assets.\nFamiliarity with tolling, transportation, or fleet data.\nExposure to Python, Alteryx, or Power Automate.\nExceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to navigate dynamic environments and embrace change.\nBenefits\nHow We Will Take Care of You\nRobust benefit package that includes medical, dental, and vision that start on date of hire.\nPaid Time Off, to include vacation, sick, holidays, and floating holidays.\n401(k) plan with employer match.\nCompany-funded “lifestyle account” upon date of hire for you to apply toward your physical and mental well-being (i.e., ski passes, retreats, gym memberships).\nTuition Reimbursement Program.\nVoluntary benefits, to include but not limited to Legal and Pet Discounts.\nEmployee Assistance Program (available at no cost to you).\nCompany-sponsored and funded “Culture Team” that focuses on the Physical, Mental, and Professional well-being of employees.\nCommunity Give-Back initiatives.\nCulture that focuses on employee development initiatives.\nJoin Us\nAt PrePass, our mission drives us.\nWe invest in relationships.
