In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers to execute the product vision and strategy while ensuring the development team delivers high-quality mobile applications that meet customer needs and business objectives. You will work cross-functionally with UX/UI Designers, Developers, QA, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle. This is a hybrid position based out of our Downtown Phoenix office.\nEssential Responsibilities\nProduct Strategy & Backlog Management\nDefine and prioritize the product roadmap and feature backlog for mobile application initiatives based on business goals, customer needs, and technical feasibility. \nTranslate business and user requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications. \nContinuously refine and prioritize the product backlog to maximize business value and support strategic objectives. \nStakeholder Collaboration\nCollaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, Developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define product specifications. \nConduct user research and gather customer feedback to validate product direction and identify enhancement opportunities. \nCommunicate product updates, project status, risks, and priorities to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the development lifecycle. \nAgile Product Delivery\nPartner closely with the development team to ensure a shared understanding of product requirements, technical dependencies, and implementation constraints. \nLead sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies by providing clear priorities and product guidance. \nMonitor project progress to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule, within scope, and in accordance with quality expectations. \nQuality & Continuous Improvement\nConduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate product functionality against business requirements. \nCollaborate with Quality Assurance teams to support comprehensive functional, performance, and security testing. \nStay current on mobile technologies, industry trends, and Agile best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous product improvement. \nRequirements\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. \n3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar product-focused role supporting software development. \nExperience delivering mobile applications in an Agile development environment. \nStrong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and backlog management. \nExperience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and prioritizing product backlogs. \nFamiliarity with mobile application development processes and user experience principles. \nExperience working with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Design, and Quality Assurance. \nStrong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. \nExperience using Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. \nBonus Points For\nCertified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification. \nExperience in transportation, logistics, SaaS, fintech, or other technology-driven industries. \nExperience with mobile analytics, A/B testing, or customer research methodologies. \nDesired Characteristics\nCustomer-focused with a passion for delivering intuitive mobile experiences. \nStrategic thinker who balances business priorities with customer needs and technical considerations. \nStrong collaboration and relationship-building skills across technical and business teams. \nComfortable making decisions in a fast-paced, evolving environment. \nHighly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. \nDemonstrates ownership, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset. \nBenefits\nHow We Will Take Care of You\nRobust benefit package that includes medical, dental, and vision that start on date of hire.\nPaid Time Off, to include vacation, sick, holidays, and floating holidays.\n401(k) plan with employer match.\nCompany-funded “lifestyle account” upon date of hire for you to apply toward your physical and mental well-being (i.e., ski passes, retreats, gym memberships).\nTuition Reimbursement Program.\nVoluntary benefits, to include but not limited to Legal and Pet Discounts.\nEmployee Assistance Program (available at no cost to you).\nCompany-sponsored and funded “Culture Team” that focuses on the Physical, Mental, and Professional well-being of employees.\nCommunity Give-Back initiatives.\nCulture that focuses on employee development initiatives.\nJoin Us\nAt PrePass, our mission drives us.\nWe invest in relationships.
