Through deep metric understanding, holistic business views, and detailed analytics, we enable concrete actions that drive business success.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nPartner with Expansion leadership on major transformation initiatives shaping the value proposition, business model, customer experience, monetization strategy, and operational playbook for new geographies, segments, and product lines.\n\nEvaluate and prioritize new market entries, customer segments, and strategic bets through rigorous market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and customer analysis\n\nRun focused, data-driven deep dives into expansion-stage customer behavior, unit economics, funnel performance, and competitive dynamics to surface where to double down and where to pivot.\n\nLead cross-functional performance analyses across Expansion workstreams - surfacing trends, explaining the drivers behind new-market KPIs, and delivering clear, actionable insights to the executive team.\n\nBuild the analytical models that underpin Expansion decisions: market sizing and TAM/SAM/SOM models, ramp and forecasting models for new launches, scenario models to pressure-test strategic options, and financial models to quantify the upside (and downside) of each bet.\n\nWhat you need to succeed\n5+ years of experience in business analytics, product analytics, consulting, or a related analytical role.\n\nExcellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of influencing Leadership-level stakeholders.\n\nProficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).\n\nA proactive, curious mindset with a drive to investigate discrepancies and identify opportunities.\n\nStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear narratives.\n\nExceptional attention to detail and a rigorous, structured approach to analysis.\n\nProven Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills (e.g., driver-based modeling, sensitivity analysis, financial impact estimation).\n\nExperience leading cross-functional analytics projects and engaging diverse stakeholders.\n\nNice to have\nExperience in corporate strategy or strategic consulting, with a track record of supporting senior leadership on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives\n\nExperience in fast-growing, data-driven startups, marketplaces, or subscription businesses\n\nHands-on experience with Looker and Snowflake\n\nWhy you’ll love it at Preply\nAn open, collaborative, dynamic and diverse culture;\n\nA generous monthly allowance for lessons on Preply.com, Learning & Development budget and time off for your self-development;\n\nA competitive financial package with equity, leave allowance and health insurance;\n\nNot in Barcelona?
