You will develop a strong understanding of our systems and use it to shape what we build, how capabilities fit together, and how work is prioritized and sequenced.\nYou will partner with Product leaders, engineering leaders, and architects from discovery through execution, translating between business and technical needs, assessing feasibility and tradeoffs, and creating the clarity teams need to build the right solutions. This is not a traditional project management role. You will be expected to understand the technology, develop a point of view, challenge assumptions, and help shape product and technical decisions, not simply coordinate the work.\nWhat youwill do\nPartner with Product, Engineering, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to discover and define product capabilities.\n\nDevelop a deep understanding of the systems, data, integrations, and workflows underlying the products you support.\n\nWork with engineering leaders and architects to assess feasibility, shape technical solutions, andidentifydependencies and tradeoffs.\n\nBring a technical perspective to roadmap, priority, scope, and sequencing decisions.\n\nTranslate business and product needs into clear requirements and executable engineering work.\n\nStay close to execution, helping teamsidentifyand resolve ambiguity, dependencies, risks, and roadblocks.\n\nCommunicate product and technical decisions, tradeoffs, and implications clearly to stakeholders and senior leaders.\n\nSenior and PrincipalRoles\nWe are considering candidatesforboth the Senior and Principalroles.What roleyou’reconsidered forwill reflect the depth of technical and product experience,complexityand scope of problems you have owned, and the level of independence and organizational influence you havedemonstrated.\nSenior Technical Product Manager: You havedemonstratedsuccess independently owning complex technical product work, partnering effectively with engineering teams, and driving decisions and execution across multiple stakeholders and systems.Required: 5+ years of experience in technical product management, working closely with software engineering, product, and business teams. Preferred:2+ years in a software engineering or development role.\n\nPrincipal Technical Product Manager: You bring greater technical and product depth and a sustained record of shapinghighly complex, cross-cutting work. Youoperateeffectively withbroadorganizational scope, influence senior leaders and technical direction,anticipateimplications across products and systems, and create clarity where there may be no established path forward.Required: 8+ years of experience in technical product management, working closely with software engineering, product, and business teams. Preferred: 3+ years in a software engineering or development role.\n\nWhat you will bring (requiredfor both roles)\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.\n\nSignificant experienceowning technically complex software products or capabilities, whether through technical product management, software engineering, or a closely related role.\n\nStrong understanding of how enterprise software is designed, developed, deployed,operated, and evolved.\n\nTechnical depth to understand complex software systems and engage credibly with engineers and architects on system design, APIs, data, integrations, dependencies, and technical tradeoffs.\n\nDemonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into technically sound product requirements and executable engineering work.\n\nStrong product judgment and the ability to make pragmatic decisions about scope, priorities, and tradeoffs.\n\nAbility to work independently across teams, create clarity from ambiguity, and influence without direct authority.\n\nStrong communicationskills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues and recommendations to senior leaders.\n\nIdeallyyou will also have\nMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, ora relatedtechnical field.\n\nProduct Management experience in addition to a technical or engineering background.\n\nExperience in healthcare, pharmacy, another regulated industry, or an environment with complex data, security, and compliance requirements.\n\nExperience with complex enterprise integrations, APIs, data flows, or distributed systems.\n\nExperience in an early-stage or growth-stage technology company.\n\nWhat we have to offer\nThe opportunity to grow alongside an early-stage companyshakingup a big, old-fashioned industry.\n\nFlexible time off, including 12 paid holidays.\n\n401k match plus 100% employer-provided medical, dental, and vision premiums.\n\nCompany contribution to Health Savings Account.\n\nStock options.\n\nPrescryptive is committed to fair pay practices. The projected annual salary range for this position is $165,000 to $245,000.
