The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our customers by providing audio system designs, keeping abreast of new products and technologies, and where possible, assisting in consultative selling.\nResponsibilities Include:\nTechnical Support & System Design:\nIn conjunction with dedicated sales personnel, gather customer requirements and use cases to provide pre-sales technical support.\nTake responsibility for designing the systems that meet the client’s specific needs using the appropriate products and technologies.\nDevelop proposals and accompanying BoMs to ensure that the correct products and quantities have been selected.\nCoordinate with the CAD department to produce GAs, M&Es, Elevations, and any relevant detail drawings required for the project. You will be responsible for generating Schematics and Rack layouts.\nCoordination with the Project Management team to ensure design intents are being met and carried out appropriately.\nEngage with other building trades and contractors to assist in smooth integration of systems.\nManage any RFIs and CRs that occur during the life cycle of the project.\nMaintain accurate logs, files and be responsible for distribution of all information to relevant parties.\nOffer post-sales support to ensure successful implementation and assist with troubleshooting during service calls.\nProducts and Training:\nLiaise with manufacturers and distributors in selecting the best products fit for purpose and acquiring an in-depth knowledge of the function, capabilities and limitations of each within a system design\nMaintain strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors.\nAttend training sessions and workshops for integrators and consultants to ensure you are well-versed in the features, benefits, and applications of relevant product catalogues.\nInvestigate any new products and technologies that you feel may be useful in meeting current and future needs.\nRequired Skills and Professional Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience and industry training.\n5+ years of experience in the commercial AV industry, with a background in system design and/or commissioning installations.\nThorough knowledge of commercial AV products and systems, including experience with Audio, Video, Control and IT systems.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-friendly language.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Skills and Professional Experience:\nDante, CTS or other technical certifications\nAutoCAD drawing experience\nExperience with audio and video interfaces, standards and AVoIP technology a plus.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Suite apps such as Word, Excel, and Visio.\nYour future at Presidio\n Joining Presidio means stepping into a culture of trailblazers - thinkers, builders, and collaborators - who push the boundaries of what's possible.
