We empower businesses - and their internal customers - to achieve more through innovation, automation, and intelligent insights.\nThe Role\nThe Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineer is responsible for monitoring, managing and supporting customer mobile device environments using the NinjaOne platform under the guidance of the MDM Team Lead. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned incidents and service requests, maintaining ownership through resolution while ensuring compliance with contracted SLAs.\nThe ideal candidate is customer focused, technically skilled and thrives in a fast paced operations environment. This position requires shift flexibility, including participation in rotating on call schedules and the ability to work varying shifts as business needs evolve.\nThe MDM Engineer will regularly collaborate with customers, peers, vendors and leadership through phone, email, chat, video conferencing and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.\nKey Responsibilities\nMonitor and manage enrolled mobile devices across iOS, Android and Windows platforms using the NinjaOne MDM platform.\nTroubleshoot mobile device enrollment, connectivity, policy compliance and application delivery issues using NinjaOne and remote support tools.\nManage incidents, requests and changes through ServiceNow while documenting troubleshooting activities and customer communications.\nTake ownership of assigned tickets and drive issues through to resolution or appropriate escalation.\nAdminister device configuration profiles, security policies and compliance baselines within NinjaOne to enforce organizational standards across managed endpoints.\nManage application deployment, updates and removal across mobile device fleets using NinjaOne software management capabilities.\nSupport device lifecycle activities including enrollment, onboarding, offboarding and remote wipe for lost or decommissioned devices.\nCommunicate effectively with customers, peers, management and cross functional engineering teams regarding incidents, outages and change activities.\nParticipate in an on call rotation to provide emergency support coverage when required.\nTroubleshoot production issues and coordinate with NinjaOne support or third party vendors as necessary.\nContribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, operational procedures and knowledge base articles.\nRecommend process improvements and identify operational risks or areas of concern to management.\nContinue developing technical expertise across additional MDM and endpoint management technologies as business needs evolve.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent work and/or military experience.\n2+ years of experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC), Managed Services or IT Operations environment.\n2+ years of hands on experience administering or supporting a Mobile Device Management platform in a production environment.\nHands on experience with NinjaOne MDM including device enrollment, policy configuration, software deployment and compliance monitoring.\nExperience managing iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices including enrollment via Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise or Windows Autopilot.\nKnowledge of MDM concepts including device configuration profiles, compliance policies, conditional access and remote device actions such as lock, wipe and retire.\nUnderstanding of mobile security concepts including device encryption, certificate based authentication, passcode enforcement and data loss prevention policies.\nFamiliarity with identity and access management concepts as they relate to MDM including Azure Active Directory or Entra ID integration and single sign on.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose device enrollment, policy and connectivity issues across multiple platforms.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non technical audiences.\nStrong customer service and relationship management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast paced operations environment.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working in SLA driven support environments.\nFamiliarity with ITIL based incident, problem and change management processes.\nExperience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.\nExperience with additional MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf or VMware Workspace ONE.\nFamiliarity with NinjaOne RMM capabilities including scripting, automation and alerting as they complement MDM operations.\nExperience with PowerShell or scripting tools for automating device management tasks and reporting.\nRelevant certifications such as NinjaOne certifications, CompTIA Mobile App Security or equivalent vendor credentials.\nCore Competencies\nAccountability and ownership\nAdaptability and flexibility\nAnalytical thinking and problem solving\nAttention to detail\nCustomer focus\nDependability and integrity\nInitiative and self direction\nTeam collaboration\nStress tolerance and professionalism under pressure\nContinuous improvement mindset\nYour future at Presidio\n Joining Presidio means stepping into a culture of trailblazers - thinkers, builders, and collaborators - who push the boundaries of what's possible.
