Discovery as a dedicated EMEA Payroll Analyst within the Global Business Services People and Culture Shared Services Payroll Operations Department. The Payroll Operations Analyst plays a key role in payroll administration, conducting audits, and supporting best practices across payroll processes. This position involves compiling, analyzing, and documenting issues related to payroll and associated activities to identify systemic problems. The role will also be responsible for researching and responding to payroll inquiries, supporting internal audits, and preparing materials for external and internal auditors. Participation in special projects is expected.\nIf you are detail-oriented and passionate about payroll excellence in an international environment, we encourage you to apply.\nWhat's in it for you...\nContract of employment - fixed term - 18 months\nHybrid work model\nBenefits package: private medical care, life insurance and accident insurance, MyBenefit cafeteria platform, subsidy for a sports card, social benefits fund, pension programmes, employee referral programme\nFree access to the HBO platform\nWork-life balance initiatives: wellbeing platform, yoga, massages, educational webinars, Employee Assistance Programme, employee-organised movie screenings in the office cinema room\nTraining and development: learning platform, subsidy for English lessons, Employee Resource Groups, Engagement Club with opportunities to develop interests through employee-led groups, online sessions with experts\nCSR activities: volunteering opportunities, environmental and social initiatives\nAccess to parking spaces\nYour Role Accountabilities\nEnsure accurate and timely execution of payrolls across the EMEA region.\nAct as the primary point of contact for the outsourced payroll service provider and collaborate closely to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.\nEnsure compliance with payroll processing calendars and local payroll requirements across EMEA countries.\nResolve payroll-related inquiries from employees, agencies, and other internal and external stakeholders, including management of case management tickets.\nCompile, analyze, and document payroll and fiscal issues to identify systemic problems and support continuous process improvements.\nPartner with Legal, Finance, and HR teams to ensure payroll compliance and support internal and external audits.\nPrepare payroll reports, statistics, year-end reporting, and perform data analysis using advanced Excel functionality, including VLOOKUPs, INDEX MATCH, and pivot tables.\nQualifications & Experience\n Previous experience in payroll operations supporting EMEA markets while managing sensitive and confidential information is required. Experience in a shared service or large multi-business-unit organization is an advantage.\nMust be bilingual with English language proficiency.\nExperience with Workday HR, Safeguard Payroll, or other SaaS payroll tools is required. Experience with payroll integrations and mass data loads (EIB) is preferred.\nSolid knowledge of payroll and compensation practices, including salary, benefits, taxes, and statutory requirements across EMEA countries. Experience in process management, continuous improvement, and process re-engineering.\nStrong analytical capability with experience managing high-volume payroll activities in a fast-paced environment.\nHybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
