# Network & Systems Administrator

Introduction Pretor IT is currently looking for a Network & Systems Administrator who will be responsible for the stability, performance, and security of Pretor’s on-premises and cloud infrastructure. This includes server administration, networking, backups, endpoint configuration, first-line support, and operational IT tasks. The role requires a hands-on individual who can manage day-to-day operations while ensuring continuous availability of critical business systems. Duties & Responsibilities Server & Infrastructure Administration Manage and maintain all Windows Servers (on-prem and cloud). Administer Hyper-V and VMware virtual environments. Monitor server performance, patching, and security. Administer SQL Server instances at a basic operational level. Backup & Disaster Recovery Oversee and verify all backups using Veeam, Windows Backup, and SQL backups. Perform regular restore tests and ensure recovery plans are up to date. Networking & Security Maintain and configure Dell managed switches, switches, and networking equipment. Manage VPNs, including WatchGuard configurations and remote access.
