Multiple positions available.\nDuties\nThe Cyberspace Instructor serves as a subject matter expert and primary educator, responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of formal technical instruction and training in one or more of the following mission areas:\n Cyber Fundamentals (i.e. basic understanding of operating system internals, cryptographic concepts, identity management, security architecture, cyber operations)\n Cyber Warfare (i.e. conduct and support for cyber mission planning, briefing, execution and debriefing; knowledge of defensive cyber operations, offensive cyber operations, and Cyber Mission Forces) \n Networks (i.e. TCP/IP, OSI model, routing/switching, wireless, network architecture, traffic analysis)\nCourse Instructor\nAct as SME and deliver course of instruction for assigned subject area(s); Participate in capstone/graduation exercise\nDevelop, review, and update Training Plans (TPs), Lesson Plans (LPs), and Training Standards (TSs).\nIntegrate changes to doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) into course materials on a recurring basis\nParticipate in training advisory boards, curriculum reviews, and training effectiveness evaluations\nDevelop and maintain training aids, multimedia content, and e-learning modules\nServe as an evaluator for student and instructor standardization and evaluation.\nMaintain qualification and currency in assigned courses; complete required continuing education and professional development\nAdministration & Coordination\nTrack and report student progression, graduation rates, and course metrics to unit leadership\nMaintain required documentation, records management, and applicable USSF directives\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum of five (5) years in U.S. military Cybersecurity and/or Cyber Operations\nOperational experience supporting deployed, contingency, or combatant command (CCMD) cyber warfare requirements\nMinimum of three (3) years as an instructor in a formal military school, university, or professional development setting; or five (5) years as a briefer/public speaker. A brief demonstration of public speaking will be required within 30 days of contract start to validate abilities.\nSkill in designing and delivering formal instruction to adult learners using multiple modalities (lecture, scenario, simulation, lab).\nSkill in using learning management systems, distributed training systems, simulator platforms, and computer-based training (CBT) tools.\nAbility to analyze complex technical content and translate it into clear, sequenced instruction aligned to performance objectives.\nSkill in writing, editing, and maintaining curriculum documentation to Air Force/Space Force instructional systems design standards.\nAbility to evaluate student performance objectively, provide constructive feedback, and identify remediation requirements.\nDesired Qualifications\nFive (5) or more years of operational space experience with increasing responsibility\nKnowledge of space operations doctrine, strategy, and national security space policy applicable to USSF/USAF missions\nOperational experience in a deployed or joint environment integrating space capabilities with ground and air forces\nDesired Certifications\n CompTIA Security+ \n CompTIA CySA+ (Cybersecurity Analyst) \n Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) \n GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) \nEducation Requirements\nBachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Cyber Operations, Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related technical discipline\nMaster's degree in Cybersecurity, Cyber Operations, Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related technical discipline is preferred.\n Graduate-level coursework in areas such as: Advanced Network Security, Penetration Testing, Digital Forensics, Malware Analysis, Cryptography, or Cyber Warfare and Policy.\nCompletion of DoD-aligned cybersecurity programs or National Centers of Academic Excellence (CAE) designated institutions in Cyber Defense or Cyber Operations.\nClearance Level: TS/SCI clearance eligibility is required\nSalary
