The RATT provides direct, Sailor-centric training and technical assistance to surface ships to improve technical proficiency, material condition, organic repair capability, and overall readiness.\nServing as the team's damage control inspection specialist, the Damage Control Inspector provides expert-level guidance on shipboard damage control systems, equipment, practices, and procedures. The SME works directly with shipboard personnel to identify equipment and personnel deficiencies, strengthen damage control practices, and improve the ship's overall damage control readiness.\nLocation\nSan Diego, CA, with extensive travel in support of shipboard RATT visits throughout CONUS and OCONUS locations.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum 15 years of supervisory experience in analyses, information system operations, and implementation of technical projects similar to those described in the PWS \nExtensive Navy technical management experience across multiple ships \nExtensive experience serving as a shipboard Damage Control supervisor across multiple ships \nDirect operational and damage control experience within the last five years \nCurrent knowledge and experience with advanced damage control practices and procedures used by the U.S. Navy \nAbility and willingness to support extensive CONUS and OCONUS travel for shipboard RATT visits \nDesired Qualifications\n25 or more years of relevant experience\nSecurity Clearance\nMust possess and maintain a SECRET clearance\nIf you meet these qualifications and are ready to make an impact, we encourage you to apply today!\nAt Prevailance, we recognize that our employees are our greatest asset.
