This role involves delivering high-quality technical and military training to Department of Defense (DOD) personnel, including Navy and Allied Forces officers and enlisted personnel temporarily assigned for training.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide instruction, testing, remediation, and curriculum support, including updates and maintenance of course materials.\nOperate and maintain training equipment, training aids, and lab tools.\nEnsure the safe delivery of training content and oversee compliance with safety standards.\nFacilitate learning using principles, methods, and practices for effective content delivery, testing, and remediation.\nRequirements\nInstructor Certification:\nGraduate of the Navy Instructor Training Course (CIN: A-012-0077) (NEC 9502) or equivalent instructor training course\nExperience:\nMinimum of three (3) years of technical experience in diesel engine inspection processes\nAt least two (2) years of experience in a Military Training Environment\nFormer senior (E7 - E9) Engineman (EN) or Machinist’s Mate (MM) with shipboard experience within these ratings\nEducation and Training:\nGraduate of: Diesel Engine Core (A-652-0320)\n Diesel Engine Inspector Course (A-652-0311)\n\nSpecialized Knowledge:\nComprehensive knowledge of diesel engine inspection processes and safety protocols\nCertified as an instructor in the Diesel Engine Inspector functional area\nFamiliarity with training aids, electronic podiums, technical training equipment (TTE), and associated maintenance procedures\nMinimum Education:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nClearance:\nMust be able to obtain a favorable background clearance\nIf you meet these qualifications and are ready to make an impact, we encourage you to apply today!\nAt Prevailance, we recognize that our employees are our greatest asset.
