This position involves providing instruction, curriculum development and updates, administration, safety oversight, and management support for formalized naval training programs.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDeliver high-quality instruction on advanced welding, NDT of metals, and ultrasonic inspections\nSupport the operation and maintenance of training equipment, training aids, and electronic podiums\nApply learning principles and ensure effective presentation, delivery, and testing of course content\nMaintain and update curriculum and instructional materials as required\nConduct safety oversight during all training activities\nRequirements\nInstructor Certification:\nGraduate of the Navy Instructor Training Course (CIN: A-012-0077) (NEC 9502) or equivalent instructor training course\nExperience:\nMinimum of three (3) years of technical experience in the Hull Technician (HT) rating\nAt least two (2) years of experience in a Military Training Environment\nFormer Senior (E5 - E9) HT with shipboard experience within the HT rating\nEducation and Training:\nGraduate of the following courses: NDT of Metals: Visual Magnetic Particle Liquid Penetrants Operator/Inspector (A-701-0033)\n Ultrasonic Inspector (A-701-0058)\n\nSpecialized Knowledge:\nComprehensive expertise in: Safety procedures and regulations\n Advanced welding techniques\n Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of metals\n Ultrasonic inspections for shipboard applications\n\nClearance:\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance\nIf you meet these qualifications and are ready to make an impact, we encourage you to apply today!\nAt Prevailance, we recognize that our employees are our greatest asset.
