This role is ideal for qualified SERE professionals with foundational instructional experience who are continuing to develop advanced teaching, evaluation, and facilitation skills while working under senior instructors in demanding training environments. Travel may be required.\nResponsibilities include, but not limited to:\nDeliver field and technical SERE instruction under the supervision of senior instructors\nAssist with training in survival skills, navigation, signaling, evasion, and personnel recovery techniques\nInstruct students on the use of maps, compasses, GPS, and communication/signaling devices\nParticipate in resistance training activities, including classroom instruction, role-play scenarios, and debriefs\nSupport execution of resistance scenarios such as student processing, searches, and tactical interrogations\nEvaluate and document student performance during field and resistance training events\nConduct instruction in austere, mountainous, and physically demanding environments\nSupport validation and upkeep of training materials, syllabi, and instructor guides\nRequirements\nQualifications:\nGraduate of USAF SV81A or an approved DoD SERE Level C (High Risk) Course\nLevel C certificate required\n2+ years experience instructing at an SV88AL SERE course or related SERE training experience\n 4+ years of military service (any branch); minimum rank E-5\nHonorable discharge (DD-214 required)\nAbility to meet demanding physical requirements (rucking, prolonged standing, extended instruction hours)\nAbility to pass SERE psychological screening and High-Risk training evaluations\nDesired Qualifications:\nFirst Aid / CPR or Wilderness First Responder certification\nFamiliarity with USAF SERE program structure and hierarchy\nEducation:\nHigh School diploma or GED\nClearance:\nPossesses and maintain a Secret Clearance\nIf you meet these qualifications and are ready to make an impact, we encourage you to apply today!\nPrevailance, Inc. proudly supports veterans as a member of the V3 (Virginia Values Veterans) program and the Hire Vets initiative.
