The Team Leader must be able to continually switch job responsibilities and maintain the product quality and schedule. Bulk of time is spent laying out a design that can be easily implemented with emphasis on being able to take work performed on earlier projects and both re-use and streamline new designs to produce a better product for less cost. Responsible for the final Quality Control Check of all products within discipline that leave the building and supporting all those products in the field.\nSupervisory responsibilities\nCoordination of team members and maintain schedules\nEssential functions\nInterface with Designers, Engineers, and Production staff to offer suggestions that deliver upon the designer’s intent. \nBid/Design/Order/Assemble/Test products within assigned discipline. \nInterface with Project Management and Operations Management to establish and meet project deadlines.\nProvide ongoing support to existing base of designs.\nProvide direction and supervision to assigned shop personnel.\nDesign schematics capable of being fabricated in-house or outsourced. \nTravel into the field to startup and commission products, as required. \nAssist in the research and implementation of new products within discipline. \nQualifications\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nExtensive knowledge of products and solutions used in discipline\nMicrosoft suite of Office products\nAble to lead a team\nCommunication to members of team and management staff\nPhysical Demands\nFrequently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. \nSpecific vision abilities for this job may include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus, with or without the use of glasses or contact lenses. \nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to follow spots and moving lights, loud noises, fumes, or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. \nAbility to lift, push, pull, and/or carry objects up to 75 pounds, as necessary.\nMust be able to communicate effectively by listening and in both written and verbal forms. \nMust be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold. \nTravel required\nLess than 25% of the time.
