Changes made to hours of work will follow the terms of the applicable collective agreement, company policy and/or legislation.\nApproximate # of hours: 22.5\nType of Shifts: Days & Evenings\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nThe Health Information Management Professional is responsible for ensuring accurate coding and abstracting of all patient charts (DAD and NACRS) while maintaining confidentiality of personal health information.\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING:\nGraduate of an accredited Health Information Management Program required.\nCurrent certification as member in good standing with CHIMA required.\nWHO YOU ARE:\nProficient ICD-10-CA and CCI coding skills \nDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of CMGs, RIWs, Case Complexity and CACS \nDemonstrated knowledge and abilities related to computerized abstracting, systems (e.g. Med2020) \nDemonstrated basic knowledge of the Microsoft office suite and good computer skills \nDemonstrated customer focused/driven attitude and positive customer philosophy \nAccurate keyboarding skills (40 wpm) \nAble to use standard office equipment including a computer, laser printer, label printer, fax machine, multifunction photocopier, calculator, and telephone.
