The role will build reusable Drupal components, create and publish content, support business and marketing stakeholders, and maintain high-quality digital experiences across enterprise websites. ROLE MIX Approximately 60-70% component development and 30-40% content authoring / site management.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDrupal Development & Component Build\n\nDevelop, configure and maintain Drupal-based websites and portals.\nBuild reusable, scalable website components, templates and content modules using Drupal best practices.\nConfigure content types, fields, Paragraphs, Views, taxonomies, menus, media libraries, Webforms and Layout Builder.\nCreate and customize Drupal themes and Twig templates to meet approved UX and visual-design requirements.\nImplement and maintain contributed and custom modules, including security updates, patches and dependency management.\nSupport integrations with REST APIs and relevant third-party platforms.\n\nContent Authoring & Website Management\n\nCreate, update, review and publish webpages using approved components and page templates.\nFormat and structure content for readability, accessibility, brand consistency and responsive display.\nManage digital assets such as images, videos, documents, metadata and media-library entries.\nExecute content migrations and bulk updates while protecting content quality and link integrity.\nApply content workflows, approvals, version control and publishing governance.\nConduct pre- and post-publishing QA, including link, layout, spelling, asset and metadata checks.\n\nFront-End Delivery & Quality\n\nDevelop responsive interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 / SCSS and JavaScript.\nEnsure cross-browser and mobile compatibility and resolve presentation defects.\nOptimize page performance, component usability and content rendering.\nImplement technical and on-page SEO requirements, including semantic heading structure and metadata.\nSupport WCAG-aligned accessibility through semantic markup, keyboard-friendly components and appropriate alternative text.\n\nCollaboration & Delivery\n\nCollaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, QA teams, content authors, marketers and business stakeholders.\nTranslate business and content requirements into practical Drupal solutions.\nParticipate in sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, demos and retrospectives.\nDocument component usage, authoring guidance, technical decisions and release notes.\nTroubleshoot production issues and coordinate fixes through the agreed support process.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nCapabilityWhat we are looking forDrupal expertise 5-7 years of relevant experience, including strong hands-on work with Drupal 9 and/or Drupal 10. Component development Experience building reusable components using Paragraphs, Layout Builder, content types, Views and custom theming. Theming & front end Strong HTML5, CSS3 / SCSS, JavaScript and Twig template skills; solid grasp of responsive design. Content authoring Hands-on experience creating, formatting, publishing and maintaining structured website content in Drupal. Engineering practices Experience with Git, environments, deployment workflows, debugging and code review. Quality & governance Working knowledge of website QA, accessibility, SEO, performance and content approval workflows. Ways of working Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, attention to detail and ability to work independently in Agile teams.\n\nPreferred / Good To Have\n\nExperience with Acquia Cloud or a comparable Drupal hosting platform.\nExposure to Drush, Composer and CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with analytics and tag-management platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.\nFamiliarity with multilingual or multi-site Drupal implementations.\nExposure to other enterprise CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager or WordPress.\nExperience working on regulated, healthcare or life-sciences websites is advantageous.\n\nEducation\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\n\nReusable components are delivered to specification and are easy for content authors to use.\nWebsite content is accurate, consistent, accessible and published on schedule.\nDefects are identified early and resolved with clear ownership and documentation.\nStakeholders receive practical guidance on component selection and Drupal
