stakeholders (business users, managers, customers) to understand business needs.\nDocument functional and non-functional requirements, basic data requirements, user stories, reports, and business rules.\nConduct interviews, workshops, and observations to gather detailed information.\nProcess Modeling and Improvement\nAnalyze current business processes (as-is) and proposed future state.\nIdentify inefficiencies, gaps, or bottlenecks.\nDesign improved processes (to-be), often using tools like flowcharts, BPMN, or UML diagrams.\nLiaison Between Business and IT\nTranslate business requirements into technical specifications for developers and IT teams.\nEnsure solutions align with business goals and add value.\nCommunicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences in a timely fashion.\nSolution Assessment and Validation\nCollaborate with QA/test teams to develop test plans and ensure systems meet requirements.\nWrite up test cases that fit business needs and the Traceability Matrix that follows the test cases.\nAssist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system setup requirements such as BDRs and user roles/profiles.\nVerify and validate the implemented solution against requirements.\nDocumentation and Communication\nCreate clear and concise documentation: business requirement documents\n(BRD/SRS), flow charts, user guides/manuals, basic data requirements, and test cases (with Traceability Matrix).\nProvide timely updates and reports to any stakeholders and/or managers.\nMaintain project documentation and version control.\nDocument per guidelines and standards of the project in detail.\nProject Support\nSupport project managers with timelines, status updates, task breakdown, SCRUM calls, and prioritization.\nHelp identify project risks, blockers, and dependencies.\nSupport change management and positive communications with end users with systems.\nProviding training materials as well as training sessions for end-users whenever necessary.\nAssist in system Post Go-Live activities such as reporting bugs, providing additional training, end user assistance, any stop gap solutions, and any critical system solutions.\nTechnical Skills Required: \nMinimum 2-3 years of Business Analyst or Process Engineer experience.\nUnderstanding of SDLC (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)\nSystem architecture basics\nJira, DevOps, Confluence, Trello (for project/task tracking)\nMicrosoft Visio or Lucid chart (for diagramming)\nMicrosoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)\nERP/CRM systems knowledge (e.g., IFS, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce)\nUnderstanding of financial processes, supply chain, manufacturing, etc., depending on the domain concentration\nSoft Skills Required:\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAnalytical and critical thinking\nProblem-solving abilities\nAttention to detail\nAdaptability and willingness to learn\nProper functional documentation
