manufacturing engineers, quality personnel, and product stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware for HVAC and Building Automation products.\nDeliver and own key contributions to the complete product lifecycle from concept and architecture through production release and ongoing support.\nDevelop, troubleshoot, and harden robust embedded communication networks and system integrations.\nSupport hardware bring-up, product validation, and manufacturing readiness activities.\nInvestigate and resolve firmware, hardware, production, and field-related issues.\nDevelop and own test methods, automation tools, and technical documentation.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, manufacturing, quality, and product management.\nTake ownership of technical features, subsystems, or products and deliver reliable solutions focused on quality, maintainability, and customer value.\nQualifications\nRequired\nDegree or Diploma in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.\n5+ years of experience developing embedded systems, with successful projects to show for it.\nProficiency in C development for microcontroller-based products.\nExperience debugging embedded hardware and software systems.\nUnderstanding of communication protocols and networking concepts.\nExperience with RTOS and developing around hardware constraints.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.\nAbility to travel between the United States and Canada is required.\nPreferred\nExperience with FreeRTOS and LittleFS.\nExperience with BACnet, CAN, Modbus, or similar communication protocols.\nExperience with Python, JavaScript, RPA frameworks, or other software development automation tools.\nExperience with automated testing, manufacturing test systems, or product validation.\nExperience bringing new electronic products from
