The Market/Account Manager, hotels uses their knowledge of the travel industry, and their experience in sales negotiation, revenue management and data analysis, to increase revenue by optimizing Priceline’s hotel partnerships. Additionally, as an Associate Market/Account Manager, you will identify trends, optimize pricing, ensure content competitiveness, and use data to secure business wins that satisfy consumer demand and improve hotel bookings on Priceline.com and Agoda.com websites.\nIn this role you will get to:\nBuild strong hotel supplier relationships and effectively communicate Priceline and Agoda’s value proposition to grow bookings, room nights and revenue in assigned portfolio\nEvaluate market trends, partner performance, and competitor landscape to ensure the competitiveness of Priceline and Agoda’s products\nAnalyze data to identify business growth opportunities across assigned portfolio\nConduct ongoing reviews of production with hotel accounts and present strategic recommendations to optimize Priceline and Agoda accommodation availability, content competitiveness and hotel performance, using a consultative approach\nPrioritize, plan and implement effectively to meet/exceed defined targets and goals\nIdentify, prioritize, negotiate, contract and onboard non-participating hotels, ensuring favorable terms and conditions\nResearch and troubleshoot pricing and availability competitiveness issues preventing hotels from optimizing booking performance\nEducate and train hotel partners on Priceline and Agoda systems, tools, programs and reporting\nCollaborate with internal partners to execute business initiatives and drive market strategy\nPrepare presentations and materials to present at both external and internal meetings\nRepresent Priceline and Agoda in assigned market(s), participate in industry organizations and events, and establish relationships with key local influencers\nWho you are:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent, in any relevant field\n2+ years professional experience in sales; travel industry experience preferred\nDemonstrated success acquiring & building long term customer relationships\nStrong sales negotiation skills and ability to creatively “think on the fly” when negotiating with hotel partners\nExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence external and internal stakeholders\nHungry, determined, motivated, solution-oriented, and results-focused\nA great teammate with demonstrated leadership skills, a professional “get it done” attitude, and strong work ethic\nAbility to multitask effectively, change gears quickly, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment\nStrong critical thinking, data analysis and data visualization skills\nPossesses self-awareness, a sense of curiosity and a growth mindset\nComfortable in two-way feedback culture and challenging the status quo\nFlexibility to travel up to 30% for partner/market visits and team meetings\nIllustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.\nThe Right Results, the Right Way is not just a motto at Priceline; it’s a way of life.
