We value ownership and accountability as we build products that help millions of customers find travel deals. You’ll help solve complex technical problems, drive product initiatives, and guide engineering delivery in a collaborative environment.\nIn this role you will get to:\nProvide constructive feedback and support engineers’ performance, growth, and career development.\nTake ownership of the team’s full-stack solutions, contributing to technical decisions and collaborating on cross-team initiatives.\nCollaborate with partners across departments to understand business and product priorities and translate them into technical plans.\nPartner with senior leaders to develop long-term technology roadmaps and execute strategic initiatives.\nLead multiple projects, including planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and delegation.\nEstablish clear expectations and practices for software quality, reliability, and maintainability.\nWho you are:\nA degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience leading and developing engineering teams through coaching, feedback, career development, and performance management.\nStrong proficiency in Java and experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, APIs, web services, and related development practices. Familiarity with React.js, Node.js, and GraphQL is an asset.\nAbility to analyze complex problems, evaluate options, and develop effective solutions in a changing environment.\nExperience designing, developing, or delivering scalable systems and integrations.\nAbility to build effective working relationships, collaborate across teams, and remove barriers to delivery.\nDemonstrates behaviours aligned with Priceline’s values of Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability, and Trust.\nDemonstrates integrity, sound judgment, and ethical decision-making in day-to-day work.\nIllustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust. \nThe Right Results, the Right Way is not just a motto at Priceline; it’s a way of life.
