All of this requires talented leaders with the right mix of technical, collaborative, management, and leadership skills and values.\nIn this role you will get to:\nLead and be responsible for a software development teams that owns the services that power Priceline’s Flight Shopping Platform\n\nServe as a leader of leaders, scaling delivery and cross-functional execution through your teams\n\nDrive technology strategy, operational backbone, and system architecture decisions across the flights domain\n\nLead adoption of AI/agentic engineering practices to accelerate shopping-experience innovation\n\nOwn the multi-team roadmap and partner with Product Group Engineering leads, flight commercial stakeholders, and cross-functional peers to set priorities and long-term technical direction\n\nManage and coach talented managers and engineers of all levels of experience.\n\nHave influence on what we build, how we build, and how we work.\n\nParticipate in various formal and/or grass-roots technical and non-technical communities at Priceline.\n\nBecome part of a team and organization that is passionate about our work, but values a healthy work/life balance.\n\nWho you are:\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.\n\n15+ years of experience in software engineering and development.\n\n5+ years experience in leading software development teams.\n\nProven track record managing a mix of people-managers and senior ICs, overseeing an org of 20+ across multiple teams\n\nB2C, e-commerce, or OTA experience, ideally with a strong experimentation culture; travel industry experience a plus\n\nSkilled at hiring, coaching, and developing engineering leaders, including performance management of managers\n\nExperience operating across global, cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities through organizational change\n\nProven collaboration skills with both technical and less-technical colleagues.\n\nExperience with developing on Cloud, especially GCP and AWS.\n\nStrong system-architecture fluency, with comfort partnering deeply on technical decisions\n\nIllustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.\n\nThe Right Results, the Right Way is not just a motto at Priceline; it’s a way of life.
