A strong background in working with cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred\nKey Responsibilities:\nData Architecture Design:\nLead the design and development of scalable and flexible data architectures to meet complex business requirements across various platforms and environments.\n\nCreate comprehensive data models, data flow diagrams, and data integration architectures to support both transactional and analytical systems.\n\nEnsure that data architectures are designed to handle both structured and unstructured data, while considering performance, scalability, and security.\n\nCloud Data Platforms:\nDesign and implement data platforms ensuring seamless integration with existing on-premise or cloud environments.\n\nArchitect end-to-end data pipelines, including ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics, using modern cloud data technologies.\n\nCollaborate with cloud engineering and DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud-based data solutions.\n\nData Governance & Security:\nEnsure that data governance practices are integrated into the architecture, covering data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and regulatory compliance.\n\nImplement best practices for data security, ensuring that all data architectures comply with relevant data privacy laws and standards (GDPR, CCPA).\n\nWork with security teams to embed data security measures within cloud platforms and on-premise systems, ensuring data encryption and secure access control.\n\nStakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:\nCollaborate closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions that enable data-driven decision-making.\n\nAct as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, presenting architecture strategies, roadmaps, and solutions to solve complex business challenges.\n\nWork cross-functionally with IT, cloud engineers, and development teams to ensure alignment on data architecture initiatives and their implementation.\n\nTechnology Leadership:\nEvaluate and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks in the data architecture space, ensuring that the company remains at the cutting edge of data management and analytics.\n\nMentor and guide junior architects and data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.\n\nStay up to date of industry trends in data architecture, big data, cloud data platforms, and related technologies.\n\nQualifications:\nExperience:\n10+ years of experience in data architecture and implementation of enterprise data platforms.\n\nGood experience working with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP)\n\nProven track record of designing and implementing cloud-native data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines.\n\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong proficiency in cloud data technologies (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Databricks).\n\nExperience in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration (ETL/ELT).\n\nIn-depth knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks.\n\nProficiency in working with big data tools and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).\n\nSoft Skills:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence stakeholders and present complex ideas clearly.\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.\n\nPreferred Certifications:\nAWS Certified Data Analytics -
