Hourly Wage: $32.52\nSchedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM\nDESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY\nSupervise Pride’s Florida Distribution Center employees and daily operations to meet or exceed productivity, quality, safety, and customer service goals while supporting Management and maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements\nRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES\nAssist with coordinating daily schedules, order flow, and distribution processes to optimize operational efficiency, output, and quality\nAssist with monitoring shipping, receiving, and inventory operations to meet established productivity, quality, and cost goals, and address or escalate issues as needed\nAssist with coordinating the scheduling of incoming containers, pickup of empty containers, and maintenance of storage container records in collaboration with Management\nMaintain a visible presence throughout the warehouse, monitor product flow, and promptly address issues as they arise\nBuild and maintain positive working relationships with all employees\nCoordinate employee training and cross-training, adjust daily personnel assignments to maximize output, and ensure employees follow established operational and organizational procedures\nAssist Management with employee development plans and the development or revision of Standard Work Procedures based on departmental goals and employee needs\nEnsure teams consistently prioritize customer service, quality, reliability, and timeliness\nIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance performance and reduce costs\nEnsure daily operations are safe and effective and conduct regular audits of safety measures\nKeep work areas organized and clean, maintain clear aisles and walkways, and reinforce safe work practices\nOperate powered industrial trucks and RF scanners to load and unload finished goods from containers, trailers, and racked locations, and assist with general warehouse duties as needed\nAssist with monitoring daily staffing needs and recommend adjustments to Management based on workload, employee experience, and productivity goals\nOrganize warehouse work areas and use available resources to optimize productivity and efficiency\nAssist with monitoring the use of departmental supplies and resources, control avoidable costs, and provide input to Management on expenditures and budget needs\nRecommend improvements to materials, equipment, tooling, products, and processes, and assist with implementing approved changes\nCommunicate effectively with employees and all levels of management\nAssist with processing time-off requests through the time management system while maintaining appropriate departmental staffing levels\nEnsure all personnel are current to any new and updated procedures in the Learning Management System (Litmos)\nMaintain compliance with Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), and Pride policies and procedures\nReinforce Lean principles and Visual Factory practices, including 5S and visual controls\nAssist with maintaining required administrative records and documents for assigned areas of responsibility\nAssist Management with documenting and communicating objectives, positively impacting employee morale, motivating team members, conducting performance appraisals, addressing individual or group performance issues, and consistently enforcing company policies, procedures, best practices, and applicable law\nEnsure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management\nComplete the annual CTPAT Security Training\nAssign, train, and develop employees based on experience and departmental goals\nAssist with developing goals and objectives, and measuring outcomes to ensure goals are met\nFocus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment\nWork effectively with all Pride departments to exceed experience, including safely operating various types of forklifts/industrial powered equipment and RF scanners\nAt least 1 year of experience directing the work of other employees in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment as a Lead or Supervisor\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE\nAt least 3 years of experience supervising at least 10 staff members preferred\nAt least 1 year of experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean principles, 5S, or Visual Factory practices preferred\nAt least 1 year of experience supporting FDA, OSHA, CTPAT, and applicable safety and security requirements preferred\nCurrent or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred\nREQUIRED EDUCATION\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nREQUIRED
