Salary: $74,470 DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY To design new products and drive continuous improvement pertaining to electro-mechanical systems in accordance with Pride’s procedures/protocols RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Design and develop permanent magnet direct current (PMDC) and brushless direct current (BLDC) motors for various applications, ensuring performance, efficiency, reliability, manufacturability, and cost targets are met Conduct in-depth analysis and simulations to optimize motor designs for specific applications Identify opportunities for motor performance improvements and cost reductions, and implement design or process enhancements accordingly Research and stay current on advancements in motor and electro-mechanical technologies Lead the development of prototypes and execute validation, verification, and reliability testing Analyze test data and implement design refinements to improve motor performance and durability Design and analyze complex motor systems and electro-mechanical assemblies Support continuous improvement of design procedures and protocols to increase engineering efficiency Develop, release, and revise mechanical drawings and 3D models Ensure designs comply wit
